Los Angeles Overview

Los Angeles, California, usually referred to as L.A., is one of the most diverse and culturally rich cities in the USA. With over 3.8 million residents, Los Angeles is also home to many celebrities due to Hollywood's activities in the movie industry. A large Hollywood sign is located on a slanted hill visible to al locals and tourists.

Most have probably heard of Grauman's Chinese Theater at some point. While retaining its historical value, it shows modern movies when they are released and is often used premiere events. Graumans Chinese Theater has already hosted two Academy awards. Signatures and prints of famous movie stars can be found at the front engraved in concrete slabs.

The Sunset Strip is where all of the culture comes together. There, tourists can find stores and restaurants of every type, and it is considered one of the finest shopping areas in the world.
