 The room (single) ıs small but recently redecorated & attractıve enough. Nıce breakfast ıncluded. Helpful & courteous receptıon people.
The hotel ıs well located for the tramway to get to & from Taksım Square (20mıns?), & close enough for easy walkıng to many of the maın hıstorıcal sıghts. My room ıs on the thırd floor rıght above a busy thoroughfare & trams, but the double-glazıng ıs very good sound-proofıng.
I'd use agaın- 30-May-2008 This was a comfortable, well-located hotel, and we would stay there again. The standard double rooms on the street appeared to be considerably larger than the standard off-street rooms and were not noisy when the windows were closed. Requesting a street room might be worthwhile if space is a consideration. Minor drawbacks were that most of the desk staff spoke very little English or any other language, and the ventilation sometimes seemed to be circulating smoky air into the room. The 4 EU/pp shuttles near the hotel are a cheap and reliable alternative to taxis to the airport.- 27-May-2007 |
