 The location and facilities of the hotel are very good, considering the room rate. Except for the hair dryer, everything we needed was available in the room. Although some of the employees do not speak English, they were still able to deliver what we asked them to do. Even after we checked out, they still lent us umbrellas (it was snowing) and I was able to use their internet access. The only negative experience we had was when we checked in around 1 am, and the receptionist did not assist us in getting our luggage into our room. - 31-Jan-2008 Hot buffet breakfast is not as bad as claimed in other reviews on this hotel. Staff were reasonable helpful but standard of English was inconsistent as some staff members couldn't understand a word of English and others were reasonably competent. Location was very good as it was in downtown and therefore was within walking distance to the Bund area and the main shopping districts in Huaihai Road. Also was in close proximity to the local metro stations.- 04-Jan-2008 The cleanliness of the room must be further improved.
