The Edison Hotel, built in 1931 in the same grand Art Deco style as Radio City Music Hall, is situated in one of the most dynamic sections of New York City. The hotel is close to the historic theatre district and steps away from the excitement of Times Square.

 A decent, reasonably priced hotel. Great location in Times Square, don't expect frills, but no real complaints. Have stayed a few times, and will continue to stay there in future.- 23-Apr-2008 Rooms not luxurious, but perfectly adequate and functional. Better facilities than some places, including an iron and ironing board in the room, which was a plus. The fitness centre was a very pleasant surprise - I was expecting a running machine and a couple of dumbells in a dingy basement, but the gym was well equipped and on the top floor with plenty of light. Wireless access was inexpensive (weekly pass for less than 40 Dollars, half the price of a single day's access in many other hotels I've stayed in). Unlike most NY hotels the Edison has a bar and cafe, and also a restaurant. Friendly staff, nice art deco lobby. For the price this was a great deal for NYC. I'll be staying here again, assuming the rates are similar.- 22-Apr-2008 Great location (right in the middle of Times Square and Broadway) and good value.
