Dona Maria Hotel is located right in the middle of Seville's historic centre, in front of the Cathedral and the renowned Giralda. The neighbourhood of Santa Cruz, the Jewish Quarter, La Macarena, El Gran Poder, the Museum, Maria Luisa's Park, Triana and the river are all within walking distance from the hotel.
Rooms
The hotel features 61 comfortable and tastefully decorated guestrooms that are facilitated with a host of modern conveniences. Each room is decorated differently and is dedicated to a famous woman of Seville.
Restaurant
The terrace-bar allows guests to enjoy the splendid views on to the Giralda and the Cathedral, while commenting with fellow travellers, over a pleasant drink, on the new discoveries made during the day. This terrace is also the ideal place to have a snack.
General
The property also offers well-appointed meeting rooms that cater for your business conferences and other celebrations. During free time, guests can take a relaxing swim in the pool or explore the nearby attractions.

 Location of hotel is excellent, however its rating and pricing as a 4* is not warranted. The hotel needs some TLC.- 30-May-2008 This is a stylish hotel right in the heart of the city - just behind the Cathedral. The accommodation was comfortable, with chilled minibar, tv and good ensuite bathroom. However, there were no facilities to make hot drinks in the room. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of rolls, fruit, cereal, ham, cheese, bacon, egg, sausage etc and drinks. There is a large lounge with bar and newspapers. There's a roof terrace with bar, swimming pool and grand views over the city. The hotel are willing to hold your luggage after you've checked out. The window of our bedroom looked out into a narrow well which could be a bit gloomy. On one night we were woken a few times by other quests going to their rooms very late or leaving very early. The air conditioning wasn't very efficient but in April that didn't really bother us. However, if opening the window, watch out for mosquitos! - 15-Apr-2008 THE hotel to stay in if you want to see the sites of Seville. A stones throw from the cathedral and the giralda, it is also perfectly located for many tapas bars and cafes for sampling the excellent local cusine. The pool and bar area offer excellent views of the city with the cathedral looking beautiful at night.
Only criticism would be not to bother with the breakfast. Expensive, cold and poor choice (take your own tea bags!!!)- 27-Dec-2007 |
