 Location is great and the view is spectacular. Check in and out was smooth. Room decor seemed a little eclectic. Water was only lukewarm, not hot, both at night and in the morning. We had everything we needed except no washcloths, and I didn't want to bother calling the front desk and waiting for them. No comment sheet in the room, but I left a note.- 07-Jan-2009 My daughter & I visited Chicago for the first time November '07 I have to say Hotel 71 was very centeral & we had no trouble at getting buses or taxi's when we needed them. Night time was safe for us to walk. All hotel staff were brilliant, friendly & helpful. Hotel was busy but very quite at night.
