Location
Being a unique holiday destination, the Whalesong Coastal Lodge is situated in South Africa's one of the most charming coastal town, Plettenberg Bay. The lodge is a short distance from the town centre and has fantastic views of the bay, mountains and the ocean beyond. Although stylish, this property is quintessentially African and the inspiration for its design and concept is from the bush.

A superb gourmet dining experience awaits the entire family at the Whales Restaurant with excellent service, gracious hospitality and a fusion of international and traditional cuisine. The large sundeck with expansive ocean views offers an alternative, casual dining experience and is an ideal venue to enjoy cocktails and sundowners.

 Firstly couldnt find our booking
Then checked us into a twin room when we wanted a double, had to go back to reception and move ourselves to another room.
Hotel restuarant booked out and could not recommend another. Found another ourselves and asked for taxi to be booked which they wouldnt, they would only give a phone number of a taxi.
Ordered wine for our minibar and noticed that there was no bottle opener, when they arrived with bottle opener they wanted us to use it there and then as they could not leave it with us in the room.
Got laundry done and we had to pay cash on collection.- 13-Dec-2006 |
