 It is not exactly a hotel but more like a service apartment. The pros are the rooms are more spacious and less expensive. The cons are the furniture and fixtures inside the room are bit old and outdated. The TV is an old 19 inches analog TV while every other hotels in Japan I have visited are already providing 16:9 HDTV. Location wise it is quite convenient as the subway is only 2 blocks away. One thing you need to know is the reception only opens between 8 am to 8 pm, and the check out time is 10 am.
If you want your room to be cleaned or bedsheets to be changed you need to pay extra.
The staff working at reception can speak fluent English and is very helpful.
As suggested on their English website, when you first arrive at Osaka by train or by plane, it is better to go to the hotel by taxi. After you settled down you can start to use the subway near the hotel for your daily tours.- 13-Dec-2008 Staying at Weekly Mansion Osaka helped me to feel like I was LIVING in Japan as opposed to being a tourist at a hotel. That was one of main purposes for staying at the mansion and I am happy that I did.- 12-Jan-2008 spacious and clean. Staff was very courteous. Condo included amenities like in US. COuldn't sleep for two nights because of the party above our condo makes noises all night.
