 It is not mentioned on the website that swimming in the sea is not allowed and this is really a pity! We went there thinking that we could swim in the sea since the hotel was just in front of the sea and we were really deceived!- 26-Feb-2007 This hotel looks as though it had seen better days... especially our room. The bathroom was deplorable. No potable water (we bought 2 large containers of mineral water for brushing our teeth). The fixtures were rusting. The head on the shower was clogged up (poor water pressure, especially the hot water). The toilet needed to be flushed more than once. Most distressing was the that the hand/face towel was positioned next to (actually touching) the toilet seat.
On a more positive note...the poolside and ocean views are warm and inviting. The staff was extremely friendly.
From the pleasant relaxing views of the sea to the inventive french pastries and the charming topiary that dots the garden path, it is evident to me that this was once a top notch hotel...I would like to ask the owners to please invest some money and restore this great place... it''s a shame that the hotel is starting to look run down.- 07-Sep-2005 It was a rainy day when I arrived at the hotel, but the hotel staff from the driver who drove me from the airport to the restaurant waiters who had served us dinner made it a more pleasant stay for their courteousness and good service.
