 This is an old hotel, with the charm and quirks that go with it.
The Bar has recently been renovated and they serve very good food all day, every day!
The staff are all very friendly and personable. The rooms are basic but well maintained, quite comfortable beds.
If you plan to say there ask for a sea view, if you dont the view from the backl of the hotel is awful as the hotel is cut into the side of a hill.
I will definitely stay there again, its only a 35min drive to Cork city from here and the roads are quite good. - 11-Jun-2007 The hotel is in a good location on the coast about a 40 minute drive from Cork city centre. The room was very clean and spacious - our twin room had one double and one single bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
