 No specific complaints but we stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and in comparison the rooms and to a lesser extent some of the public rooms are now rather tired and in need of refurbishment.
30 new rooms are being added - they say in time for the World Cup next year but this would seem doubtful judging by the current status of the build. This will make all the public areas and in particular the main restaurant extremely busy especially at breakfast.
It does however remain a very popular and stylish hotel especially for retired English couples who seem to form the majority of the clientele.- 27-Feb-2009 A charming hotel in a beautiful setting.
