Vincci Puerto Chico Hotel is located at the Marina of Puertochico, on the shore of Santander's bay in the historical centre of the city and a few metres from the beach. The hotel is ideally located for those who enjoy a stroll into town or one of the lively areas of Santander, with a wide range of eating and shopping places. The Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria, the Museum Maritimo del Cantabrico, or the Centro de Alto Rendimiento de Vela Principe Felipe are just a few metres away.

 A great Hotel in a Perfect position in a truly Spanish City, outside the Hotel there is very little english spoken so take your phrasebook.
Hotel is across the road from the marina and in the heart of the main restaurant and shopping district. If your there for just a few days then this hotel is a great base to work from on foot.
The scenery in the surrounding area is marvellous. The staff in the hotel are absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much. I will stay there again. - 29-Sep-2007 Hotel was spotless and the staff were very attentive and very keen to help me when I requested they only communicate with me in Spanish to allow me to practice (i have only had 15 lessons)... the hotel is 3 minutes walk away from the busy tapas and bodega eating and drinking area, right on the swanky quay side of the marina and a 5 minute hop on any number of busses to the beach, or downtown shopping area; the ideal location for getting around Santander.
The Breakfast in the hotel is buffet style with an amazing array of really good food, the breakfast alone would make this hotel worth experiencing!
Rooms were a little on the small side but more than made up for it with lovely bathrooms and hardwood floors in the room. The only issue I had was with the pillows (one each and too hard), but I am a pillow snob and my travel partner didnt have a problem at all - I didnt complain at the time either, so I shouldnt complain here!
