 A simple hotel in a great location. Actually, location couldn't be better! Right in front of the leaning tower! Breakfast was OK with bread, cereal , yogurt, and fruit juice. The hotel has a simple restaurant, which is open until late, with good pizza. Would return. Take it more as a nice two-star hotel, all that you need to rest after a day sightseing.- 07-Apr-2008 The main advantage to this hotel is its location. It is right across from the Campo Mirabile and Leaning Tower. I would recommend asking for a room at the back of the hotel to avoid noise from the street. The rooms are generally clean though the hotel is in serious need of redecorating. I would not stay here again.- 04-Nov-2007 The Hotel was clean, bedding and towels changed every day but it could do with a bit of brightening up and a bit of tender loving care. Staff very friendly and helpful, speaking quite good english. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, tables did not seem to be set up ready for breakfast and had to be hurriedly cleared when the next party came down,rolls, jam etc being moved from one table to another. There was not a toilet in the reception area which meant that we had to go up to our room when we needed one. We were disappointed we could not get a drink in the hotel bar but had to go to the restaurant next door.which I might add was very good and reasonable. The choice of meals and the quality were excellent. Location of the hotel was superb in sight of the tower, and an easy walk to the bus stop. To sum up we enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again.- 18-Oct-2007 |
