We didn't expect a hotel 1km from the motorway to feel like it was in the middle of the country, but as soon as we were in our room or down by the pool in the large gardens, we looked across the unspoilt countryside and breathed the sweet air of Tuscany. Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Elegant, simple and convenient. Even the ugly buildings across the road couldn't spoil it and the location was great for access to the whole of Southern Tuscany. Would recommend it to anyone who wants an easy, comfortable and trouble-free stay. - 18-Jul-2006 This is a very nice hotel. It is very convenient, being close to the A1 motorway (500 m.) although you never hear its noise, due to the tunnel that passes under the hill where the villa is located. We had a room overlooking the commercial center nearby (Etrusco), but well kept within the romantic scents of a nice and quite garden where you can drink a "spumante" in the sun and enjoy a delicious view on the Tuscany hills. Wooden floors and noble materials made our room luxurious. Moreover, it was extremely quiet, due to the fact that there is only 1 floor to the hotel (so no neighbours above or beneath) and the walls are well insulated. The very nice breakfast (if we consider we are in Italy) did also include fresch fruit salad and service at your table (what a cappuccino !!). All this for 68 EUR a night ...
Last, but not least, except in November as we are now, the very large swimming pool overlooking the eternal beauty of Tuscany.
