 My wife and I stayed at Villa Foscarini while on holidays in the Veneto region. The hotel is ideal for visiting Venice, 5-10mins walk to the train and 15-20 mins to Venice. It is also only 20 mins from Treviso and Marco Polo Airports. The hotel consists of 3 units: main building (has 2 floors with a lift), the "barchessa" and "la maison" units. We stayed in the "la barchessa" unit. Everything is very clean and in good working order. The room was a good size and had a brilliant jacuzzi shower. The bed was very comfortable and had very nice "olde worlde" furniture. Noise from adjoining rooms was not a problem. Breakfast was more than adequate. The hotel staff were very helpful and speak very good English. There are restaurants in Mogliano 5 mins walk away where you can eat out inexpensively, Ai Portici, La Fenice and Ai Bersaglieri I recall being 3 of them.
Overall a very enjoyable stay there.- 30-Sep-2008 Very noisy rooms if you have the ones next to the road.
On pictures the hotel seems to be a quiet and parkland place - no park other than the inside patio and the forementioned road right next to you. - 12-Aug-2008 |
