 The hotel is at the top of a steep hill - we had a car and needed it! To find the hotel you must follow the instructions carefully, keep a good look-out for the turning and keep going up the hill! Once there it's very pleasant. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel, and though we did not rate it highly it obviously does much business. The hotel is "isolated" but we were able to get the provisions we needed in the village. The hotel was certainly a good base for travel in to Florence - we used a new underground car park suggested by the hotel staff which proved very good (and had remarkably clean loos).- 08-May-2007 I was happily surprised at this beautiful Villa Hotel. However, the road leading to the Hotel is in very poor condition. We arrived late at night and had a difficult time getting there.- 06-Jun-2006 The restaurant "Montebuoni" which is on the side of the hotel is very good. The service is perfect and people are very kind. There is live music (piano and/or singer) for the dinner. Very good atmosphere !
