 Staff are very friendly and warm. The cosy hotel makes it a great place to relax and wind down after spending the day sight seeing. I would definitely recommend the hotel to a friend.- 07-Sep-2005 We stayed at the Victoria Angkor Hotel between the 28th Dec and the 31st Dec 2004. We found it charming from beginning to end. The staff are extremely hospitable, the layout of the hotel is French Colonial (it only opened 20th Dec 2003), the food in the various restaurants is excellent and we were extremely statisfied. It has a charm that gets lost in the larger hotels. There are 3 floors here - they are installing an elevator (there wasn''t one for the guests - which could be a problem if you are frail) but the room were spacious (we were in deluxe rooms) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I would advise that you pre-arrange transport from the airport and a guide for the temples in your preferred language.
