 The Hotel was just a room and a swimming pool that could have been found in any Motel. The bar was not open during the time we were there. Our room was not serviced during the the time we was there. On complaining, we were told that the rooms were only made up every three days. We stayed in this hotel about !2 years ago, when it was "The Concorde", and at that time it was a far better hotel.- 21-Mar-2008 Quick check in, friendly and attentive staffs. The room is great, nice view from the balcony. The breakfast was ok, it is just like my expectation. The elevator was bad, its waiting interval was too long and it stops at almost every floor with nobody's getting in. Must have put air-con in the elevator since it gets too hot inside. The location of the hotel's pretty good, smack in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Though its not a beach front hotel but it is surrounded by shopping spots, bars and cool restaurants and it only takes 5-10mins walk to the beach. The price was a little high for a standard room but then again it's quite reasonable since I stayed during weekend where the hotel occupancy was almost 100% and it's including buffet breakfast.
