 A very attractive hotel which we will definitely use on our next trip to Barcelona. The location is in a smart area of Barcelona with lots of exclusive shops and far from the tourist tat of La Rambla. The hotel is convenient for Park Guell, Casa Mila, Sagredo Familia and is very close to the Metro for trips further afield.
We had a lovely clean spacious room on the 7th floor with a great view. The breakfast buffet was good although they run out of things the later you go so go early!
The staff were really friendly and helpful and I have already recommended this hotel to friends. Great value for money, too.- 25-Feb-2008 The hotel is very conveniently located right next to Gracia FGC (local train) station and Fontana and Diagonal Metro stations. Also a number of busses stop just in front of the hotel. A ride to Pl. Catalunya (central Barcelona) takes only about 5 minutes.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. All are en-suite and equiped with a TV set, a telephone and A/C.
All staff- members speak English and are very friendly and competent.
I would highly reccomend staying at Via Augusta Hotel. Especially to those expecting good service for a reasonable price.- 07-Sep-2004 |
