 Hotel very well situated close to the train station. You can reach everywhere by foot or by vaporretto.Rooms are small but clean.I recommend this hotel for its price if you compare with another hotels in Venice.Basic breakfast .
11/11/2008- 19-Nov-2008 The hotel is just 2 mins from the train station S. Lucia or 10 mins from La Piazza Roma,who arrives in bus or car.Anyway it is a very good location,in front of the hotel on the Grand Canal is the vaporetto stop,which will take you in 15mins to La piazza di S. Marco,you can go to Lido and Murano from there too,no need to take private gondola,costs too much! I would suggest unlimited 2 or 3 days vaporetto tickets,it cost 21 euro and we used it a lot!Anyway hotel would do with some proper cleaning. They do clean your bedroom every day,change the towels and sheets and make your bed,but you can see dust everywhere.If you are not fit,ask for bedroom on lower grounds,as we had our one at the top floor,very difficult to get back at the end of the day after walking in Venice.The hotel staff was very kind to us,but my husband is italian.The breakfast was pretty good,for a 3*hotel in Italy,believe me, but they could do with a proper cup of coffee though!There is automat,so be safe,drink tea!- 07-Nov-2008 Very convenient Place to stay.
