This Hotel itself is a lovely old Tuscan Villa, no parking infront of the hotel at all, we drove around the one way system twice before we found it, as the sign is currently hidden behind a tree.
I was disappointed that when we arrived the advertised restaurant was closed, and this was a saturday night!.
It was pouring with rain and after walking around Manaioni twice, we had to go back to the hotel to ask whether there was anywhere to eat at all.
It would appear that we had arrived out of season and all but two places to eat were closed. There is nothing to see or do in Manaioni itself but it is close enough to other lovely places to go.
The breakfast was very disappointing, having to eat coco pops as there was nothing else! both mornings !.
Only saw two memebers of staff our entire two night stay, it would appear that the hotel was winding down for the out of season trade, which was a shame because i think it is probably lovely in the summer.- 26-Sep-2005 |
