Excellent hotel and cannot fault location, prices, standard. We knew when we booked it that we were getting an old world hotel and that is exactly what we received. If you like modern, multi storey hotels
with a gymnasium, pool etc this is not for you. Only comment will
make, more as a recommendation than a criticism, is if you are not able-bodied then do not stay here. We were on the third floor with no lift and quite a haul up and down, especially with suitcases although porter is always available in any event. Definitely would stay here again.- 17-Sep-2007 Superb location, all facilities and service 1st class, could not wish for more. Nightclub was not disturbing as it was so far below in cellars. Wonderful atmosphere.- 25-Mar-2007 Hotel was excellent and the attic room we had was really great - but not for the faint hearted having to climb to the 4th floor with no lift! Topless pole dancing bar in the basement was an interesting short experience for me also, but did not affect the quality of the hotel in any adverse way.- 22-Mar-2007 |
