 we like the hotel it is good and white the tram 3 haltes from the town.- 04-Jan-2008 The Hotel is well placed for a Tram into the centre (15 mins) The breakfast was fine with a reasonable choice. The staff all spoke excellent English and were helpful. They have a secure deposit box system for valuables. I would go again to this hotel for the price and the transport connection into the city.- 27-Mar-2005 Hotel rooms are big and clean. Breakfast is great. The price is excellent. I've been to Prague three times and stayed at this hotel twice. The hotel has its own transportation and the gentleman speaks comprehensible English. He can drive you anywhere at a decent price. Far less than the regular taxi. If you want to save money, walk about 300m to the tram station. It's only 3 stops from Wenceslao square. From there you can walk to Old town square, the Palace, Charles Bridge, and Jewish museum. Bear in mind you cannot buy a ticket from the tram station or the from the tram driver. You can get this only from the automated machine at the Metro station. It's only 8 CZK oneway from hotel to the Wenceslao square. That's not even 50cents US. Restaurants are around the hotel. Traditional Czech restaurant, next door from hotel, Chinese and other restaurants just around the hotel. Great find for budget conscious travellers.
