Location
The Tulip Inn Berlin is located close to the subway and Frankfurter Allee train station near Alexanderplatz. The property is within walking distance of three modern shopping malls that offer a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Tegel and Tempelhof airports are within a 20-kilometre distance from the hotel and can be reached by public transportation or taxi.

Restaurant
A super breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant Brasserie, where you can also have your dinner in the evening. The standard menu gives you the possibility to eat German food and the regularly updated menu offers worldwide specialities.
General
If you wish to celebrate or do some hard work, the hotel has the facilities for small celebrations and conferences for up to 15 people. Larger celebrations can also be held in the restaurant for up to 60 people. For short breaks or to unwind in the evening, the on-site sauna is the right place to go. In the fitness centre you will be able to relax and do a little exercise any time of the day.
 I stayed 5 nights. The hotel facilities were very good and the staff helpful and friendly. I asked if I could possibly have a quiet room and was given one on the fourth floor at the back. Be warned - the trains rumble past 24 hours a day! The noise was horrendous - now I know why the receptionist offered me some earplugs on arrival!!! It did spoil my stay! I had to TV on all the time to try and drown out the noise to no avail!- 08-Oct-2008 The buffet breakfast was very good.
Housekeeping could do with improvement - one day we had no handtowels (but 4 bath towels); the next day we didn't get a bath mat...but this is nothing serious!
