 Beautiful non-casino hotel located off The Strip. If you're looking for a little bit of quiet away from the action & noise of The Strip, this is the hotel for you! Fashion Show Mall is right across the road for all you shoppers! The hotel lobby is stunningly decorated, the rooms are spacious as is the bathroom which includes a tv in the mirror! Awesome!! The views over The Strip & the mountains are fab! I was on the 53rd floor!! The staff were exceptional, very friendly and eager to help. The Strip is within walking distance. To give you an idea, Wynn is right at the end of the street, Palazzo & Venetian would take approx. 5-10 minutes walk, centre Strip where Bellagio & Caesars Palace are would be about 15-20 minutes walk. If you're not up for the walk, cabs are readily available at the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.- 07-Nov-2009 I chose this hotel for the star rating, price, and for the name. I made a request for a high floor. The front desk accommodated that request and also upgraded us to a strip view room for our anniversary. On 3 separate ocassions we had no hot water. I spoke with a manager directly after my last breakfast. She was very casual and didn't seem concerned. She removed the "resort fees" from my bill. The property design and decor: great. The experience with the staff: great (front desk) to terrible (security at the elevators being over-bearing and bothersome; our group was appropriately dressed and well mannered. Felt unwelcomed.) The location was not directly on the strip and was fine; appreciated the quiet. The biggest detail and defining memory of Trump Las Vegas is the reoccurring issues with the hot water. Despite all the fine details and luxury: basic infrastructure was not up to standards. I would not stay there again and I would not recommend this property to friends or acquaintances.- 19-Aug-2009 The service and amenities at this hotel were fabulous. The food was decent, a little over priced, but the service was great in the main dining room. Poolside service needs an improvement, but the pool itself is perfect and quiet. The location is good, it is a little off the strip, but close enough to walk to the main strip. Because it was off the strip and did not have a casino, the hotel was very quiet, which was great for what we wanted. Not so great if you want all the hype of Las Vegas.- 02-Jun-2009 |
