Staff quite rude. No concept of service, welcome or atmosphere. Room not serviced the first night.
However the hotel looked good with good facilities and the cost was excellent. - 07-Oct-2009 Hotel is in a very nice location with great views.
Reception staff OK but the staff at breakfast were very dour. Hot breakfast not worth eating very poor quality, did not eat at hotel in the evening so cannot pass comment on dinner.
The Spa facilities which we hoped to use were closed for the 3 days we stayed
We travelled by car and were unhappy to have had to pay an additional 9 Euro per day for parking when there was no other choice we felt taken advantage of. (who else would park in the hotel's private underground carpark)- 04-Jan-2009 Good quality food served in dining room, unforunately ruined by a totally incompetent chef, lets face it you don't have to be a brillient chef to cook the bacon properly at breakfast.
If I owned the hotel I would be asking myself why so many people went out of the hotel to eat an evening meal, you should encourage people to stay in the hotel, you loose so much income when they have to go out.
It was a lovely quiet and tranquil hotel, we do not need a lot of entertainment, but someone playing the piano would have been nice.
Please lift the ban on staff being able to smile- 30-Nov-2008 |
