 Very good hotel. Not close to restaurants but couldn't find many anywhere we went. Good service, nice compact rooms, but the limited space is well used. Small bathroom with no shower, but otherwise good. The rooms were clean, and the hotel is within 5-10 minutes walking distance to two train stations and nearby parks. Stay here if you are on a budget and looking for a good quality and affordable hotel. Their breakfast was little more than continental and fairly expensive at 16.50 AUD per person.- 06-Jun-2007 Good location, in walking distance of many things, quieter street than middle of city, good value, no noise between rooms, would reuse. However, noise from other guests in corridor returning to rooms at 2am in morning significant. - 29-May-2007 I was expecting a youth hostel feel to the place based on some reviews by people who have stayed there. I stayed in a double room for single use and found it very comfortable and neat although the bathroom is rather small.
The little kitchenette in the room is a nice touch complete with microwave oven, cutlery and free coffee and tea. I managed to save some money by nuking my own tv dinner.
All in all I would recommend it to anyone for its great location alone. It is within walking distance of all the major shopping and sight seeing areas. This place is worth the money I paid! - 21-May-2007 |
