 Having paid extra for one of the special offers it was of little or no benefit. Room was musty, had a bad smell and had to be changed. Having requested a view of the pool and a double bed I was initially given neither. Breakfast good but often several trays where not refilled. Standard of this hotel has fallen to the extent I would not use it again. Better deals to be had in Singapore.- 07-Oct-2008 As always the hotel is very welcoming after a long trip to Singapore. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful although the cost of a room in the Traders over the christmas season proved to be very high compared to others in the same area and of the same star rating. I have been using the Traders for a number of years now however I will now be trying alternatives over the next few weeks to compare.- 30-Dec-2006 I've stayed at Trader's Hotel a number of times over the years and would not hesitate to stay there again.
