The Torre Girona Students Residence Barcelona is in the university area of Barcelona, next to the Campus Nord of the UPC and it also provides an access to some of the local attractions, which guests can explore at leisure.

This property features a well-equipped meeting room, which is the perfect venue to organise any type corporate event. Health conscious guests can make use of the fully equipped gymnasium to remain fit while travelling.
 I made a last minute booking after I was forced to change my original travel plans. I wanted a cheap but decent room with TV and a fridge in a safe area and this accomodation ticked all the boxes. The room was exactly as it was described so no problem there. It could've been a bit cleaner though, there was dust on the TV and furniture and found some hair on my bed. Another thing was the noisy fridge that woke me up a couple of times during the first night, then I got used to it.
Other than that, I enjoyed my stay, the reception staff was very nice and helpful and the continental breakfast was good too. There's a PC room and gym too although I didn't use the latter.
Location is good, the nearest metro station is just 5-8 minutes away and it's only about 5 stops to the city centre.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend this accomodation to anyone.- 09-Sep-2009 |
