 I just remarked that the breakfast room was closed at exactly 10 o'clock and they started to tidy away right away even though my friend and I were the only people having breakfast. Made us hurry and did not enjoy it as we would. Why not wait five minutes?
Very helpful at the Reception! - 12-May-2008 In a very good location in the centre of Oslo. Near all the shops and restaurants, and a one minute walk from the harbour, yet situated on a fairly quiet side street. Our room overlooked the street. Many rooms overlook the dining area in the atrium of the hotel. Wonderful Norwegian style buffet breakfast. We have stayed here twice on two separate visits to Oslo and would highly recommend it. Only thing to be aware of is that the hotel isn't one of the stops for the Flybus to/from the airport (indeed, most of the hotels in Oslo aren't - the main exception being SAS Radisson), so you will have a 15 minute walk to the nearest bus stop if you're staying at the Thon Cecil.
