 Stayed in a "deluxe" room at the hotel. It was opposite the Swan RSC theatre. For £80 through this website for the room (no breakfast) it was great value - there were bathrobes, complimentary port and chocolates thrown in! Had I paid the "rack" rate of £215 it would have been poor value - the "garden" view was of a flat roof with some greenery beyond... Be aware there's a car-parking charge of £4 per day, but the hotel are happy to let you keep the car there before/after check out, and as it's close to the centre this worked well. Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful.- 15-Dec-2007 This was a lovely hotel experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would certainly stay there again!- 27-Jun-2007 Booked in for romantic valentines night, had to move from the pre booked four poster bedroom because the bath waste pipe was blocked with someone else's hair! NICE TOUCH. Not impressed with the service from then onwards had to move to a smaller room with no four poster!. As they did not offer to refund some of the £148 i had spent on the room i had to complain to get some money refunded. Breakfast service was awful too, forgot about our tea/coffee and toast so we gave up and left!. Won't be rushing back. - 18-Feb-2007 |
