 Really enjoyed our stay at the Westin. Have stayed in all the 5 star hotels in Shanghai and this is the best as far as value for money goes. We DID get a very good deal through [your website].The breakfast was terrific, our room was very spacious and the staff very friendly and obliging. The only crit I have is the gaudy decorations on the lobby and the bath was very short....fairly inconsequential! It only takes about 8 minutes to walk to Nanjing Lu and even less to get to the Bund. It is also about 8 mins to the metro station. - 02-Mar-2008 The hotel's service is excellent. I was staying there for 2 days on Dec 1 - Dec 3. We booked this hotel for a standard room with breakfast. But we were offered an upgrade room to "crown room" (I don't quite remember what type of the room was) because all standard rooms were full at that time. The room is very spacious and more like a junior suite room. Very convinient and classy furniture. The breakfast is very good with various choices of chinese and american breakfast. However, the location isn't the best one. If you need to go to Nanjing road, you must walk for about 10 minutes to get there. And usually taxi won't take you there since it's too close for them. Overall, this hotel is a recommended one for those who are seeking a great service. - 06-Dec-2007 |
