 This was a very nice hotel in great location, close to the metro system which was great for getting around LA and only $3.00 for a day pass. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was great, good food and very reasonably priced including the wine. No hesitation in recommending this hotel to others. Most staff friendly and helpful.- 17-Mar-2007 A really nice hotel, although they weren't that knowledgable about the area and places to go to. But then that seemed to be the case with the taxi drivers too. Other than that the hotel was really nice and the staff were really friendly and the hotel was clean too.- 09-Nov-2006 Wow! I have to believe this hotel is the best in LA. It's very large, beautiful inside/out and has everything you need. The close location to historical landmarks is exceptional and for those wanting to see Hollywood or other sites, the Metro train station is a block away and 3 bucks gets you a day pass. There's a beautiful revolving lounge/restaurant at the top of the hotel with a great view of LA and the food's great; the only downfall is the service is pretty slow. We plan to visit LA again in the future and the Bonaventure will be our hotel of choice. Don't be swayed by close proximity to LAX of other hotels...it is only 15 bucks via Super Shuttle to the Bonaventure and there's more to see in close proximity to the hotel and I doubt you will find a better hotel anywhere in LA. We stayed for 3 days and took in a Dodgers and USC game, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Little Tokyo, China Town, Sunset Blvd and Walt Disney Concert Hall and the hotel was tenfold worth the price we paid.- 23-Sep-2006 |
