 This hotel is truly elegant. The rooms are tastefully decorated and you feel like royalty in them. The hotel complex is located high up overlooking the city. I would recommend having your meals here as well - the high tea was just as good as in Betty's in York. It's worth every penny, but shop around for a good price.- 24-Mar-2007 What an outstanding hotel this is! minutes away from downtown J'burg, but far enough away to feel very safe. Location - set on a hill overlooking the Zoo where the elephants could be seen from our room...super. The service was second to none and the standard room which came with the outstanding room rate - was anything but standard! Food in all eateries was excellent.
