 The rooms are spacious and check-in in your own room and the butler service a nice touch. It is definitely worth sampling the high tea. The big downside to the hotel is that it has not got a pool. Only one restaurant was open during our stay and a lot of the hotel was undergoing renovations. - 07-Sep-2005 Hotel room was fantastic with its colonial but well renovated interior.
It will be worthwhile to try to stay at the hotel even only because of this reason.If you expect facility for exercise, it was not the place as no pool/gym were available. Staff were all very helpful and full of good hospitality even considering that it was low season and not many guests they had. Restaurant service was slow and dinner was not so interesting of its taste and variety. Famous bar was not so impressive and drinks expecially cocktails tasted funy. - 07-Sep-2005 |
