Continental Breakfast was fairly poor as was the insufficent room/area to eat it in. The room was absolutely fantastically furnished, unfortunately the radiators did not work which was a problem since it was -3deg outside. This was reported to the staff but was not rectified druing our 2 nite stay.
My overall impression of the hotel is that they are tryin to do a good job with a good idea , but they are slipping up on some of the basics which is a real shame.- 17-Jan-2008 Found the hotel to be exactly as stated on web page. Clean rooms, powerful shower and friendly staff. Real Indian theme with dark wood furniture imported in from Jaipur. Bus links to airport and city centre on the doorstep. Would definately recommend to friends who wanted to stay outside the city centre.- 08-Aug-2007 While the hotel was clean and the beds very comfortable the hotel did lack a few facilites that are taken for granted, such as a bar (which stated that it did have one)it had a cooler box with soft drinks a few beers and white wine - not a full stocked bar as expected. Location very good as the airport bus left you practacly at the front door( return airport bus £5:00) airport bus passes every 10 minutes every day. Scheduled busses very regular you can purcahse a £2:50 all day ticket for as many trips as you like. The hotel is situated on a straight road into Princess Street about 10/15 minutes on the bus (you can also walk this as it is a straigt road). Staff very pleasant but speak very little English. Rooms are adequate with tea/coffee facilities, no hair dryer for those in need. Font door closes at 10:00pm however there is a staff member on hand to let you in after this time. Breakfast continental but not much choice. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay.- 27-Apr-2007 |
