 Very pleasant hotel, and mostly pleasant, somewhat eager, service. Front desk a little amateurish, and not really helpful sometimes, in spite of technological sophistication. The desk clerk and concierge functions seemed to be combined in one person, and I don't think this worked well. The decor is really nice, as are the rooms, bedding, etc. Books all over the place, an original and successful touch. The rate seemed rather high all in all, but I would probably go back for the wonderful ocean front location and the very comfortable beds.- 28-Jul-2008 |
