 Service rated bad because the bar/coffee shop service was very slow - otherwise the staff were very efficient, pleasant and helpful- 19-Mar-2009 The hotel itself was absolutely stunning. The service was fantastic and the room very nice, but there was no complimentry champagne or chocolate on the pillow, plenty in the fridge and any additional items in the bathroom eg. the mini sized plastic shaver etc. was an additional cost. The staff left a small bottle of Mt Franklin water on our bedside tables in the evening, but that cost $7.50. We just expected a little more for $400 a night. We will stay there again next year, but for what we expected we would have to upgrade to a $700 a night room overlooking the Yarra and a suite.- 19-Nov-2008 LOVE this hotel.
