Location
The Thande Hotel is located on the south west corner of the ancient walls of Bagan and on the east bank of the famous Ayeyarwady River. Placed in Old Bagan, this hotel is about 15 minutes drive from the airport in Nyaung Oo, while New Bagan is 4 kilometres away. Situated within the Bagan Archaeological Zone, the hotel lies among a host of neighbouring ancient temples.

 The hotel staff were very helpful and the facilities were all extremely clean. I wrote an email yesterday to your company complaining that the "free" accommodation for Under 10 years olds did not include a bed or breakfast. I thought that this was falsely advertised.
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay at Thande and the hotel was in a fantastic location.- 27-Sep-2006 We did not receive river-side but garden-side rooms. The hotel is beautifully located overlooking the Irrawady-River and beneath old trees. Very romantic!- 07-Sep-2005 |
