Location
The Thala Beach Lodge is located 45 minutes north of the Cairns International Airport and 15 minutes south of Port Douglas. It is the only private beach nature lodge between Cairns and Port Douglas and provides the convenient location to explore the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest
Rooms
All the 83 deluxe timber bungalows are built high on stilts and nestle in the forest canopy providing a magical and unobtrusive relationship with the natural world. All bungalows are air-conditioned, stylishly decorated, have screened windows and offer sublime views either of the ocean or forested mountains.

Dine at the Ospreys Restaurant which serves cuisine which is blended with tradition and innovation. The Dishes served reflect an insightful contemporary approach delivering great flavors and nuance.

The Thala Beach Lodge provides a natural and secluded environment for your relaxation and is a tranquil heaven at the end of a hard days exploring. At leisure guests can avail the benefits of swimming pool and massage services available on-site.

 Beautiful site set in lots of trees, very discreet service and fantastic food. Try the picnic baskets!- 02-Jan-2006 Beautiful location with direct access to private beach, where we swam every day by ourselves. (Ask for a room with a view of beach.) Rooms are in individual elevated bungalows that feel like tree houses. We loved being able to leave our balcony doors open all the time and feel the cooling coastal breezes.
