The hotel has one major flaw... at night the temple bar pubs use a loud car alarm like buzzer to empty their premises and the room I was staying in enjoyed the full force of the alarm. Which was not fun.- 28-Aug-2007 This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Dublin and is very clean and comfortable. It can be noisy at the weekends, so be sure to ask at check-in for a quiet room at the back of the hotel otherwise the noise from the nightclub downstairs will keep you awake at night. I had a very enjoyable stay - it's the first Irish hotel in it's price range I've stayed in that had a flat screen TV and a safe in the room. The only problem I had was that the breakfast service was appalling - 25 minutes after ordering, the food finally arrived. There was much complaining from other diners. Hopefully this was just a problem confined to that particular day, because apart from that one glitch I would have no hesitation recommending the Temple Bar Hotel. - 08-Nov-2006 Very good for all areas of Dublin, the hotel is excellent but the breakfast is poor by Ireland standards.- 05-Nov-2003 |
