Even though i found the room clean and tidy i was unimpressed with
such second class furniture for an executive room. The chest of drawers had a number of handles missing, the TV cabinet had 1 door
broken off,the small round glass-topped table beside the room window wobbled, due to the feet not being very level on the carpet, and the mixer taps in the bathroom were not fixed in position very well as they could be moved from side to side.
A cooked breakfast was available in the resturant, also bread rolls, cereals, orange juice, tea, coffee and toast for those who don't eat a cooked breakfast, such as myself. However the eating area was a shambles and had to be seen to be believed. It was like a teaspoon cafe, which was very untidy.Tables with no tablecloths, milk jugs not refilled fast enough and not all the necessary cultery available.I had to take the milk jug from the table behind me to put some in my tea and a knife from the empty seat beside me to butter my toast.I expected better.- 29-May-2009 The public transport is just outside the hotel and only a short trip to the centre. I would use this hotel again.- 04-Jun-2008 Proved difficult to get a drink as a hotel-resident after the 11 oclock pub closing time - 27-May-2008 |
