 We arrived to no welcome despite three girls on the reception desk,our room had no bath only a very basic shower. My passport was taken at reception and then "mislaid". Later in the evening three strange men were looking through our windows. These men i was later told were security but had nothing to identify themselves. I got suspicious and requested to see my passport, this eventually arrived after several phonecalls. Neither my wife or i felt comfortable there and we decided to check out. The manager was confrontational and insisted i pay for one night despite the fact that we were not staying and had four men lined up next to the taxi. I paid one night reluctantly and we left for another hotel. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone except my mother-in-law- 16-Jan-2008 We think this hotel was situated a bit too far from Hua Hin city and could be a little too quiet.
