 The best thing is the location, as it isn't right in the centre of Canterbury where it is all pedestrinised, the hotel is able to provide a free carpark. It is within a few minutes walk of all the attractions and restuarants and coffee shops so very convenient. The room we had was a decent size and well lit. Windows were big and the bathroom clean and bright despite one unsightly patch of damp above the bath. Floor boards are very creaky so you hear everything unfortunately. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast served to your table. I would stay here again for sure.- 22-Aug-2007 Lovely olde worlde hotel in the heart of Canterbury. Staff were very friendly and although the hotel was shabby in places, it was very clean and comfortable. The only drawback is that the hotel seems to be on a popular cutthrew for students back from the pubs and can be very noisy into the early hours.- 02-Oct-2006 |
