The best thing is the location, as it isn't right in the centre of Canterbury where it is all pedestrinised, the hotel is able to provide a free carpark. It is within a few minutes walk of all the attractions and restuarants and coffee shops so very convenient. The room we had was a decent size and well lit. Windows were big and the bathroom clean and bright despite one unsightly patch of damp above the bath. Floor boards are very creaky so you hear everything unfortunately. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast served to your table. I would stay here again for sure.- 22-Aug-2007 Nice & comfy hotel, well located in a quiet but handy spot. Room was well-appointed, although there was no lift to my 2nd floor room. Restaurant was great for breakfast but a little disappointing for dinner – typical tired hotel menu could have been better, plus the desserts were microwaved! But overall, an enjoyable stay & I would recommend this hotel.- 10-Apr-2007 |
