 If you want a place to stay and don't want to haul your bags from the station to the hotel, choose Sunroute hotel. The location cannot be beaten. It is in the central part of town, strolling distance to all the temples and shopping. Staff weren't up on their tourist information which is fine as the station has a lovely lady who knew her stuff in the tourist office in the station anyway.- 01-Jan-2009 The Hotel is located just in front of the JR Railways Station and has a very good location for the travellers with JR Pass. Around the hotel there are a lot of not expensive Japanese restaurants open until late. The hotel is modern and the rooms are western style, enough spacious to host two adults and two luggage. If you are not a smoker, don't forget to ask for a non smoking room while check-in or send an e-mail prior to arrival to the hotel asking to have a non smoking room because these kind of rooms are very few.- 09-Sep-2007 |
