 We thought it was a shame that the restaurant is downstairs so that you get no hint of a sea view. It seemed very dark. A shame when there is the lovely glass fronted part of the hotel overlooking the sea which would make a perfect restaurant.- 20-Feb-2008 The hotel is situated just a 10min walk down to the pier and a little longer to get back due to walking up the hill. We stayed for a short break 3 nights and for this the hotel was ideal. the hotel rooms are a little dated but are clean and functional.- 10-Sep-2007 The hotel rooms are very dated to say the least but they are clean. The communal areas are nice though. You can use the facilities of the nearby sister hotels which are very nice, especially the pool at the cumberland. Only had breakfast at the Suncliff which was very nice.
The hotel was clean, staff polite and helpful, plenty of parking and a great location. Only the room decor (and heat!!) let it down.- 13-Jun-2007 |
