General
The Yacht Hotel also has contemporary, fully-equipped conference facilities creating excellent opportunities for conferences, seminars and meetings. The Captain's Club is a VIP meeting room for up to 15 people with a dedicated bar.
 This is a beautiful hotel, but it's located in the middle of nowhere! There's nothing outside the hotel to do for miles. We had to get a train into the centre of London for some life and that took us about 30 mins. But the hotel itself was lovely and very clean and spacious. If there was a party on in the hotel, it would have been brilliant.- 08-Nov-2007 The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. BUT THE PLANES! they start flying over very early and are very noisy, infact the noise was deafening with the balcony doors open.
We payed more for a room with the balcony on the river side, the view of which turned out to be two derelict buildings and some workmen, the balconies were also too small for a table or chairs which i had expected.
The hotel i think will appeal to people of all ages and has a high novelty factor, but i'm glad i wasn't there to do any serious drinking as it was quite expensive in the bar.- 24-Aug-2007 Suite was very comfortable, as were all the facilities.
