The hotel is situated in a magnificent old classic Florentine style building in the historical centre, very close to the Central Train Station of Firenze S. Maria Novella. Stella Mary Hotel is also very near the wonderful Church of S. Maria Novella, the Medici Chapels and the traditional Market of San Lorenzo.

 beautiful room and shower space, the elevator is unique- 11-Mar-2008 The hotel was located on the 2nd floor. When we arrived we were ushered across to another hotel with a different name. We summised the two were linked. The room was large but didn't have a fridge which would have been handy. It was decorated with old florentine style furniture. It wasn't a bad stay and I would probably stay there again.- 19-Jul-2007 The hotel is ideally situated - very close to the station and a short walk from the major tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke good English, which is a big asset given the state of my Italian. The rooms do not have shaver points, so be sure to take an adaptor with you if you need to use an electric shaver. The advertised bar does not exist - not a major drawback, but if it should not be advertised if it is not there. - 24-Feb-2007 |
