We were pleasantly surprised with our time at Stay. The service was great, very friendly, helpful people on the front desk who were happy to answer all our questions. Funky interior and a bonus of free wifi available in the lobby and Mac computers to use the internet on. We went for a double room with our own bathroom and it was perfect for our visit. Would definitely recommend staying here, just know that you are in Downtown LA so the area isn't flashy. But its a short walk up the road to the train station and a quick ride to Hollywood Boulevard and all the sightseeing there. Plenty of cheap, tasty Mexican food too!

This is a good place to stay, very funky decor and the cheapest decent place I could find in LA. They have free internet in the lobby and computers to use. The Ipod docking station in the room was a nice touch. The service is good, although one of the staff was not very helpful with an airport transfer and I missed my flight (but got on the next one). This is a good place to stay if you don't want to drive in LA as it is close to the metro line to Hollywood, and very close to a bus directly to Venice beach and Santa Monica.
