stayed for three nights location superb staff not like normal 5 star stayed back but always there nice touch if you want space food very good rooms large spa very nice and for all guests if you like history this building dates back to the 15 cen and the work they have done is a credit to all small hotel by normal standards but well worth a look/stay/and of course a re-visit well done to all the staff alan billington - 26-Apr-2008 a fantastic hotel. I travel a lot and this is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Modern mixed with old works so well. Spa is great too and they don't charge extra for it. Location couldn't be better right next to old town market place. If you don't want to get a taxi you can catch the bus easily from Krakow airport and then its about 10 min beautiful walk to the hotel.- 27-Nov-2007 The Stary Hotel is literally a beautiful hotel in the new wave of boutique style hotels. Perfectly situated just off the main square. I found the overhead lighting in the bedroom way too strong and obtrusive. However what really surprised me about this 5 star hotel was the service. You do tend to expect a little more from a 5 star. Found the receptionists unhelpful and not at all friendly or accomadating, while the restaurant staff were pleasent enough, they could certainly improve the service, particularly when you consider breakfast is self-service, is there any reason you should have to wait 10 minutes to be brought a cup of coffee!!.
